Orchard Festival

From 16.08.-18.08. takes place near Dornstadt near Ulm the Orchard Festival took place. Last year the 25th anniversary was celebrated. The festival has become cult not only in southern Germany. Danube Island Festival

Breminale

This year the 32. Breminale will take place from 25-29 July 2018. The poetic name alone is reason enough to make your way to Bensheim near Darmstadt. During the six days of the festival, a varied program of live music, comedy, theater and a children’s program is offered. The festival is therefore also attractive for families. Rock in the green is the Berlin Newcomer Open Air Festival in Berlin Biesdorf. On July 20 and 21, 12 newcomer bands from the Berlin/ Brandenburg region will perform. In late summer, Winterthur’s alleys become a festival stage for twelve days. A colorful program of rock, pop, hip-hop and electro is complemented by cabaret and films. Up to 250,000 visitors of all ages come to Karlsruhe every year to the Günther-Klotz-Anlage. This year „Das Fest“ will take place on the last from 20 to 22.07. 2018. So completely free of charge is the festival however not. You can get to the sports, children’s and cultural areas for free, as well as the field, culture and DJ stage. Only for the big main stage a ticket is needed, but with prices of 10€ for a day ticket, the Karlsruher still made it on our list. If you take a look at the program with bands like „Von wegen Lisbeth“, „Gloria“ and „Bosse“ you can absolutely afford the tenner. The program for the free concerts of the field stage will be announced in June.

In the Ruhr area in the direction of Duisburg and Essen is Werden. Castle moat festival

From May 31 – June 03, 2018, in the middle of Darmstadt’s city center, the big Castle moat festival will take place. This year’s line-up includes NENA, Tom Gregory, The Gypsys and many more. But here you can not only be enchanted by music, but also by poetry. Poetry slammers will also find their way to Hesse.

DonkeyRock

The DonkeyRock in Wesel has established itself as a festival size in North Rhine-Westphalia with its more than 10,000 visitors. With a mix of metal, hip-hop and rock, the Heubergpark will once again be the place to party on June 8 and 9, 2018. This year’s program is not yet fixed, but since the last years artists like JupiterJones, MIA and Killerpilze were there, we can definitely keep the two days in June free.

East Harbour Festival

From August 11-12 will take place the Frankfurt East Port Festival takes place. With 4 live stages and 40 bands of different music genres, there is something for everyone. What else is on offer? Club areas with various DJs, harbor tours, art and cultural initiatives and of course the beach area, which invites you to linger with its unique harbor flair. To Echternach in Luxembourg every year around 20,000 visitors come together to celebrate and dance. This year the e Lake Festival will take place from August 10-12. So far bands like ITCHY, Dreamcatcher and Kensington have been confirmed. So how about paying a little visit to our dear neighbors in Luxembourg?

RheinImpuls

From May 4-5, 14 bands and solo artists will enchant in Bonn at the Rheinaue. This year’s program includes Alex Mofa Gang, Eskalation and KOJ. About 100,000 visitors came to the last RheinImpuls found its way to Bonn two years ago. It is worth it!
