BYD has stopped the production of burners
Tesla competitor BYD has set the production of burners. This announced China's largest manufacturer of electric cars in a press release of 4 April. Accordingly, only fully electric and highly electrified plug-in hybrid vehicles should be produced. "In the future, BYD will focus on pure electric vehicles and plug-in hybrids in the automotive sector," according to Reuters in a statement at the Hongkonger Stock Exchange. However, the production of gasoline engines will not be charged thoroughly because smaller, highly efficient motors should continue to be used in plug-in hybrid cars. This step is a response to the commitment of Beijing to increase the consumption of green energy in order to bring the carbon emissions to a high up to 2030, explains the news agency.
Angry Hot Hatch Driver Really Doesn’t Like The Tesla Model 3
The angry Frenchman was driving a RenaultSport hot hatch, so he should have been enjoying himself, not threatening other drivers. The most bizarre piece of footage included in the latest compilation by the Wham Baam Teslacam YouTube channel comes from France and we really don’t know what to make of what happened. The driver of a Tesla Model 3 was cruising window down, arm out on a stretch of country road, when from behind a much angrier driver in a RenaultSport Megane hot hatch made his appearance.
sales of BYDS New Energy Vehicle records enormous growth
as the recent sales of the company show, the BYD car sales are increasingly increasing. Overall, the Chinese manufacturers sold 90,268 units in February, which corresponds to an increase of 336.2 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. 87,473 units were BYDS New Energy Vehicle (NEV), which corresponds to growth of 764.1 percent compared to the same month last year. Almost half of all units sold were electric vehicles. With 43,173 units, the sales figures of the electric cars have an increase of 451 percent at the previous year. The model DM-I with BYD superhybrid technology was sold a total of 44,300, which means growth of 1,836.2 percent compared to the previous year in February.
Tesla hit by string of US sex harassment lawsuits
Six women sued Tesla on Tuesday, alleging a culture of sexual harassment at the electric carmaker's California plant and other facilities that included unwanted touching, catcalls and retaliation for those who complained. The lawsuits -- filed within a month of two others -- add to the controversies centered on the Fremont factory in the San Francisco Bay area and which include a Black ex-employee being awarded $137 million in a racism case. "Tesla's factory floor more resembles a crude, archaic construction site or frat house than a cutting-edge company in the heart of the progressive San Francisco Bay area," several of the suits claim.
Climate Conference 2021: These six automakers want to abolish burners until 2040
BYD is also one of the six manufacturers who want to completely abolish the production of burners together with 24 states by 2040. Except BYD also set the manufacturers Volvo , Ford , General Motors , Mercedes-Benz and Jaguar Land Rover at the World Climate Conference in Glasgow in 2021 not to produce no combustions by 2040. All undersigned parties strive to "design the worldwide sales of new cars and small transporters by 2040 and in the leading markets until no later than 2035," explains BYD in a press report.
In addition, BYD signed an agreement supporting a global declaration of intent in which countries are invited to make 30 percent of their new moderate and heavy commercial vehicles by 2030 and 100 percent to 2040 free of emission. The third document that signed BYD calls to accelerate the construction of a comprehensive network of electric vehicles charging infrastructure.
