Ronaldo's goal in the seventh minute was courtesy of Anthony Elanga, who stole the ball from defender Ben Gibson in the area and slid a pass to him for an easy one-timer past goalkeeper Tim Krul.

Ronaldo then headed home a corner kick in the 32nd. Ronaldo’s free kick from outside the area sailed through the wall and off Krul’s outstretched hands into the top left corner of the net.

The 37-year-old's exploits saved United's blushes after the team coughed up a 2-0 lead to a Norwich team that is fighting to remain in the Premier League.

United's fans were as restless as ever as they watched their team cough up the lead, as they turned on the team's multi-million dollar stars.

After Norwich had tied up the scores, fans began chanting, 'You're not fit to wear the shirt", as the cameras panned to high-priced stars Paul Pogba, Jadon Sancho, Ronaldo and Bruno Fernandes during a stoppage in the game.
