The United States faces a new killing in a school setting. A 15-year-old opened fire Tuesday in a high school in the northern United States, above Detroit. According to the local police, there would be three deaths among students and six wounded with a teacher. The New York Times writes that the shooter would have "fired 15 to 20 times with a semi-automatic punching weapon" to 12:50 local time, at the Oxford High School in the County of Oakland, Michigan.

Right to silence

The presumed shooter, himself student of the establishment, was arrested "without problem" and did not explain his gesture, said Michael McCabe, a police officer of Oxford, in the state of Michigan. The teenager would have invoked his right to silence. After the evacuation of the establishment, research is underway to identify potential new victims.
