It was enough to prompt the refute on social media from Rooney, whose friend told MailOnline: "Coleen won and has no interest in being drawn back into the fray."
The anonymous friend added that "Coleen feels at the moment that everything that needed saying was said in the judge's ruling" and won't do a similar tell-all interview.
Judge Karen Steyn on Friday cleared Rooney of libelling Vardy when she alleged that Vardy had leaked her private social media posts to the tabloid press.
The judge said in a written ruling that Rooney's allegation was "substantially true".
Steyn said it was likely that Vardy's agent, Caroline Watt, had passed private information to The Sun newspaper, and that "Mrs Vardy knew of and condoned this behaviour".
