Polish leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski accused Germany of wanting to dominate Europe peacefully after failing to do so militarily.

However, Mr. Kaczynski stressed that the strength of Europe lies in its diversity and in the sovereignty of the EU member states. This is why he believes that Germany's attempt to dominate Europe "is a path that leads to the crisis and the disaster", which worries Poland, Europe and also Germany.

Kaczynski is the leader of the ruling party in Poland, the Conservative Party Droit et Justice (PIS). Although he does not occupy any government position, he is the most influential political figure in the country.

The USD hardened his nationalist and anti-German discourse as the elections scheduled for next year and faced with a clear decline in party results in polls.
