Two of today’s most popular SUVs have just landed in hybrid versions at Canadian dealerships: the 2022 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid and the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid. We therefore tested them simultaneously — on the same roads, in the same weather and at the same time. Our first observation? Not everyone can be hybrid. Overview For its completely revisited fourth generation Tucson, Hyundai has penned a very beautiful exterior. It almost looks like a prototype. Its biggest novelty, at least in the Hyundai lineup, lies in its mode of propulsion: the compact SUV is now available in two hybrid variants.

The Ford Mustang Guide to Parenting
There is no choice, there is only an immutable law. Elsewhere, free will exists – the requirements of fatherhood and motherhood are loosened. Here, though, there is only the way. The way it has always been, for decades. The words of The Poet ring out like a bell, “Alright, stop. Collaborate and listen” Sorry, had to be done. As it is said: when in a white Mustang droptop, do as His Iceness would do. The next generation requires it. They must witness the spectacle of Mom or Dad spitting the lyrics to “Ice Ice Baby” word-perfect, waxing any nearby chumps like, say, a candle.
Ford offers the Fusion in two other variants: The gas-powered Ford Fusion and the plug-in hybrid Ford Fusion Energi. We review both models separately.

2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid Versus the Competition
Which Is Better: 2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid or 2019 Honda Accord Hybrid?
The 2019 Honda Accord Hybrid is a great hybrid vehicle. Compared to the Ford, the Honda has a larger trunk and better fuel economy estimates, as well as a stronger powertrain and a roomier cabin. The Fusion is more fun to drive, and it has lower select ownership costs, but in most other respects, the Honda is the better choice.
Which Is Better: 2019 Ford Fusion Hybrid or 2019 Toyota Camry Hybrid?
The 2019 Toyota Camry Hybrid is a top pick in our hybrid and electric car rankings, and it’s a much better vehicle than the Fusion Hybrid. The Toyota earned a top-notch safety score, and it has a higher predicted reliability rating. Unlike most hybrids, the Camry’s battery pack doesn’t impede on trunk space, and it has more room for your stuff than the Fusion Hybrid. On top of that, the Camry Hybrid gets better mpg ratings. The Fusion Hybrid offers sportier driving dynamics, but that’s not enough for us to recommend it over the Toyota.

Its drivetrain also has plenty of torque for quick off-the-line acceleration.

The 2019 Ford Fusion is a very good midsize car. The gas-only Fusion has a lot in common with the hybrid version, but there are a few notable differences. The Fusion has a larger trunk, and it's available with more engine options, including a twin-turbo V6. On the other hand, the hybrid gets superior fuel economy, and it has more standard features because it starts at a higher trim level.
