The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be paying a visit to the UK again with a trip planned next month. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle flew over from their North American home in June for a rare visit to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

However, it has been confirmed the couple will return to the UK in September for a series of charity events. These include attending the One Young World Summit - an organisation which the Duchess helps as a counsellor - on September 5 in Manchester.

Following their Dusseldorf trip, the husband and wife will return to the UK to attend the WellChild Awards on September 8. A spokesperson for the couple said: “Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are delighted to visit with several charities close to their hearts in early September.”

During their most recent visit to the UK, it seemed apparent that things remain frosty between the Sussexes and the rest of the Royal Family following the 'Megxit' scandal, which saw the couple decide to step back from royal duties. During the Platinum Jubilee, Harry and Meghan did attend some events staged for the celebration, but were not spotted on the Buckingham Palace balcony when appearances were made there by other royals, including the Queen.
