Canucks captain Bo Horvat out for the rest of the regular season with lower-body injury .
With exactly two weeks remaining in their regular-season schedule, the Canucks have announced that captain Bo Horvat has been shut down due to an undisclosed lower-body injury. Horvat will be re-evaluated in two weeks. The announcement comes as a relative surprise; Horvat left Thursday’s game after blocking a shot, but that decision was deemed precautionary and he has since been considered merely day-to-day. As it turns out, the prognosis is much more severe. Horvat, 26, is Vancouver’s leading goal scorer with 31 tallies on the year.
