Miami (Reuters) - The American coastguard ended Thursday to research operations carried out for three days off Florida to find 34 people missing after the capsizing their boat, in what the authorities consider as an attempt to unlawfully enter the United States from the Bahamas.
This announcement was made at nightfall, a few hours after the discovery of four additional corpses with five the number of victims confirmed in the incident.

A single survivor has been rescued, Tuesday morning, when a tug has seen it hanging on the boat so almost fully submerged. None of the 40 people on board were equipped with a rescue vest, said this survivor.
The fortune boat left Saturday night the Bimini Islands, the Bahamas, located about 80 kilometers east of Miami, and capsized the next morning because of strong currents.
According to the US Department of Homeland Security, the boat would be illegally migrants. The nationality of people on board was not communicated.
