Giordano, 38, was a Norris Trophy winner in 2018-19, and still is producing at a high level for the Kraken. With 23 points in 50 games, he is their highest-scoring defenseman, and with more than 21 minutes of ice time a night, he plays more than everyone except Adam Larsson. Any acquiring team wouldn’t likely be asking him to do as much, which could perhaps improve his performance even further for a short postseason run.The Rangers have been linked to basically every player on the market this year as they try to parlay an incredible season by Igor Shesterkin into true contender status. 
Claimed off waivers last season, Friedman has been a nice find for the Penguins, playing regular — if limited — minutes down the lineup. In 20 games this season, the 26-year-old defenseman has one goal and five points while racking up 17 penalty minutes. Although he certainly isn’t an imposing figure, standing just 5-foot-11, Friedman is actually quite physical and willing to drop his gloves on occasion. While that doesn’t make him an incredibly important piece, he does seem to fall into the category of player Penguins executive Brian Burke has always coveted. 
While he may still serve as an extra forward to start, this is an opportunity that Rask shouldn’t overlook. The 29-year-old forward has completely fallen off the map when it comes to being an effective NHL forward.Then, Rask was quickly assigned to the Charlotte Checkers of the AHL, throwing some more confusion at the deal. It’s different characters. We’re with Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate (Simone Ashley) most of the [second] season and that’s very different from Daphne and Simon. And that’s really part of the draw to me of a project like this, the ability to tell these close-ended love stories of different characters season after season.” Ashley, for her part, defended the decision to focus on emotional intimacy over sex scenes. “It makes sense for these characters because they’re so protective over their families and they’re so truthful to their duties and responsibilities — so for them to break that wouldn’t have made sense for the characters,” the Sex Education star said at the time. “And as Chris has said, they aren’t performative sex scenes or intimate scenes. They have a meaning behind them and I think it’s very earned when the fireworks happen.” For Bailey, the heavy chemistry and tension meant more when it came to Kate and Anthony’s slow burn story. “I think Kate and Anthony feel explicit in the way that they feel naked in front of each other. The Pittsburgh Penguins could be without one of their stars for the next little while. At the end of the second period, Malkin and Borowiecki came together for the incident in question. Malkin first delivered a hard slash to Borowiecki’s side before hitting him in the face with his stick. 
It is also worth noting that Malkin was assessed a four minute double-minor on the play. In terms of salary-forfeited, the suspension will cost Malkin approximately $190K. Losing Malkin for four games now is a tough loss for Pittsburgh, who is in no threat of losing a playoff position but is fighting for seeding, which can have enormous ramifications in their own right. The Penguins currently sit in third place in the Metropolitan Division with 94 points, four ahead of the Washington Capitals who hold the second Wild Card in the Eastern Conference (the Boston Bruins have the first Wild Card with 95 points).
