April 7 (Reuters) - The Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelansky called Thursday Western politicians to quickly find an agreement on a Russian oil embargo, arguing that their inability to agree with the lives of Ukrainians.

In a video speech, Volodimir Zelensky, also stated that it would continue to insist that Russian banks are completely blocked by the international financial system.

The invasion of Ukraine by Russia, lasting for six weeks, forced more than 4 million people to flee, made thousands of wounded and dead, and caused the destruction of towns and villages.

The Ukrainian President stated that Moscow was gaining so much money through oil exports that she did not need to take peace talks seriously and called on the "democratic world" not to resort to Russian crude.

"Some politicians are still unable to decide how to limit oil trade with Russia in order not to endanger their own savings," said Volodimir Zelensky, predicting that an oil embargo would nevertheless be imposed.

"The only question is to know how many Ukrainians the Russian military will have time to kill for you, some politicians - and we know who you are - find some determination," he added.

Moscow has the invasion of Ukraine as a "special operation" aimed at demilitarizing and "denazify" the country.
