Nick Cannon has revealed that his youngest son, Zen, has passed away at the age of just five-months-old.
Taking to his Instagram account on Tuesday, Cannon put up a video clip from the Nick Cannon Show speaking about his son, who, passed from a rare brain tumour.
Zen was born on June 23, and Cannon recalled the moment when he and Alyssa Scott became aware that their son suffered from a condition called Hydrocephalus.
“I always noticed that he had a cough, and I wanted to check it out,” Cannon said.
“He had this interesting breathing and by the time he was two months, I noticed he had a nice sized head too — I call it a Cannon head. We didn’t think anything of it. But I wanted to take him to the doctor for his sinus and breathing. We thought it would be routine.”

“We woke up on Sunday, and I was just like ‘I feel like I want to go to the water’ you know, close to the ocean. We got a chance to go to the ocean.”
“Usually, on Sundays, I kind of handle everything I like to handle with the family, and then I fly back to New York so I can be here for you all. By the time I got in the car and was headed to the airport, I had to turn around,” Cannon said.
