Emma Raducanu's rise to superstardom continues following her historic US Open win. The 18-year-old became the first qualifier in history to win a Grand Slam last month, and brands have been vying to sign the 'marketable' star ever since. Raducanu has now become the new face of luxury fashion house Dior, weeks after netting a £2m sponsorship deal with Tiffany & Co.

Raducanu became an overnight sensation following her historic US Open win.

The 18-year-old came into New York ranked down at world No 150, winning ten matches in a row without dropping a set to leave as the champion, currently sitting at No 24 in the world.

The US Open champion stepped out in a one-shoulder dress from Dior's Cruise 2022 collection designed by Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri at the recent No Time to Die premiere, and is now set to front campaigns for the luxury fashion house after representing the brand on the red carpet.

Being able to wear a dress like that made with all the magic in the Dior ateliers was a totally unique experience. The detailed embroidery was exceptional and I was so honoured to attend my first movie premiere in it."

There were rumours the world No 24 would become the face of Chanel after wearing a head-to-toe black and white outfit from the designer at the Met Gala, but Raducanu opened up on her decision to go with Dior for an unknown figure.

While it is not yet known how much the 18-year-old secured in her new sponsorship deal with Dior, she cashed in £2m for her Tiffany & Co. signing.

On the tennis court, since winning a staggering £1.8m prize cheque at the US Open, Raducanu also pocketed £21,084 in Indian Wells despite losing her first match.

Playing her first tournament since winning the US Open, Raducanu came into the WTA 1000 event as the 17th seed and earned a bye straight into the second round.

She lost in straight sets to world No 100 Aliaksandra Sasnovich and later withdrew from this week's Kremlin Cup in Moscow, citing a change in schedule.

The world No 24 is next due to compete in next week's Transylvania Open, in her father's home country of Romania.

She also has the Upper Ladies Austria Linz in her schedule for the week after, and is set to play two exhibition events before the end of the year at the Champions Tennis event in London and the Mubadala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi.
