Adele's intimate gig will be aired this weekend on November 21, two days after the launch of her fourth album, 30.

ITV announced the TV event, which will air exclusively on the network as well as its on-demand service, the ITV Hub.

The show's audience will be made up of the star's own personal heroes, fellow musicians, actors and other famous faces.

The show comes after the artist sat down with Oprah Winfrey for the CBS special, Adele One Night Only.

Members of the audience are reported to include the likes of Elton John and Little Mix.

Katie Rawcliffe, head of entertainment commissioning at ITV, said Adele was one of the most in-demand stars in the world.

The network was thrilled to be able to host the event for the remarkable and inspirational artist.

ITV released some footage of the concert, which was actually filmed on November 6.

Kate Garraway, Dawn French, Dua Lipa and other huge names were in attendance.

In the trailer, the award-winning singer is heard saying: "I'm such a big fan of An Audience With..."

She then takes questions from the likes of Samuel L Jackson and Alan Carr, admitting she was "nervous".

Viewers could hear her performing her latest hit, Easy on Me, as well as old favourites like Someone Like You.
