Entertainment: EastEnders photos show aftermath of Rocky's collapse

New EastEnders photos are revealing the aftermath of Rocky's dramatic fainting at the end of Tuesday's (November 22) episode.

The new glimpses into what's coming up later this week show Sonia Fowler and Kathy Beale's shock at discovering Rocky Cotton collapsed in the kitchen. He returned home following a surprise birthday party thrown by Sonia (who still believes he's her dad, when, in reality, he's Dotty's uncle and they're trying to scam her), and dramatically clutched his chest.

The episode showing the aftermath Rocky's collapse will air on Thursday (November 25), as his scams begin to unravel. In Monday and Tuesday's episodes, viewers saw Rocky attempting to leave Walford until the party threw a spanner in the works, leading him to write a letter to come clean to Kathy and Sonia over posing as Sonia's dad.

But, the letter hasn't seen the light of day (yet), as Kathy and Sonia find him on the floor still clutching at his chest, having knocked over the table and chair when he fell.

The snaps show the two desperately trying to help him as nurse Sonia checks his pulse while Kathy looks on in horror.

Dotty, who is Rocky's partner in crime for this scheme, is then shocked to see him being carted off in an ambulance but fans still don't know what will happen and whether he will even survive the medical emergency.

Will the letter be found or will Rocky tell Sonia and Kathy himself after facing his mortality? Will Dotty and her mum Sandy expose him before he has a chance to come clean? How will Rocky make his escape now that he's laid up in a hospital bed?

EastEnders newcomer Martha Cope previously opened up about Sandy being the cause of Rocky's schemes going awry, as she knows all about his dark past. She's been suspicious of what Rocky's really doing since returning to Walford and has caused him a lot of stress, which may even be the cause of his collapse.

"Sandy sees the worst in everybody so she'll know that it's not a friendship or family connection, she'll know there's something going on," Cope explained. He's always trying to get something from someone so she's likely to sniff them out and realise there's something afoot."

EastEnders airs these scenes on Thursday, November 25 at 7.40pm on BBC One.
