Danny Dyer has reportedly been offered a £1million deal by Channel 4 for his family to star in their own show.

The EastEnders star, 44, is leaving the BBC One soap later this year after nine years of playing the Queen Vic's landlord Mick Carter.

Following the news of his upcoming departure later this year, which Danny recently broke his silence on, the actor has reportedly been inundated with offers.

Danny has reportedly been offered the chance to film at Keeping Up With The Kardashians-style show, which would focus on his life with his wife Jo Mas and their kids Dani, Sunnie and Arty.

"TV production companies are falling over themselves to film him and his family.

"Channel 4 made him a lucrative offer that he’s been tempted by and he knows his family would make really lively, fun TV as they’re all so down-to-earth and people at home can relate to them."

Danny's wife Jo, whom Danny recently admitted "resents" him over his career, has previously said they had considered taking part in a family show.

She said: "We’ve been offered a reality show, but Danny is contracted at the BBC.

"We have always joked about it. People do say we need a show in our house because there’s always a drama. One day we might do it."

BBC's EastEnders confirmed Danny's exit from the soap in an Instagram post. The show's official page shared a photo of Danny as Mick Carter and shared a statement in the caption.

Danny later added that he is leaving the soap to "look for his defining role".

Speaking on his podcast Sorted With The Dyers, which he hosts with daughter Dani, 25, he said: “When you're in a job like a soap your contract comes up for renewal and every time it has they've asked me to stay, and I'm very grateful for that. Because I've seen a lot of people come and go. It's very tough."

“I always debate whether I want to sign again and I've been contemplating a while now about whether it's time to roll the dice, take the leap," Danny went on.

"The big news is I've decided not to renew my contract. That's all. That's not because I've fallen out with anybody, I love everybody. That job has been amazing for me. It's an important part of television.

"I'm grateful for the beautiful years I've had there. I'm going to miss the people massively. It's me taking a risk."
