Rebekah Vardy’s name has been on everyone’s lips of late after the 40 year old attempted to sue Coleen Rooney, 36, for libel after she publicly claimed that Rebekah was the source leaking information about her and her family to the press.

Rebekah denies the claims but, after the explosive seven-day Wagatha Christie trial, a judge ruled in Coleen’s favour, leaving Rebekah reportedly facing a whopping £2million legal bill.

Less than a week on from the verdict being given, the mum-of-five took part in an interview with TalkTV and shared a series of bombshell revelations to interviewer Kate McCann.

From addressing the comments she made about singer Peter Andre to discussing her mental health, Rebekah and Kate covered a wide range of topics.

Following on from her first TV appearance since the trial, TV psychologist Dr. Arthur Cassidy has analysed Rebekah’s interview.

“She presents an intriguing personality type, with ‘no one will love me for who am as I’m so rich and famous’ being her mantra,” he told OK! Online.

“Her insatiable power motives over previous years imbued with high profile celebrity exposure come at a huge cost in which she was seemingly oblivious to. It’s a common feature of celebrity personalities to demonstrate their best ‘authentic self’ in high profile TV interviews.”

Jodie Comer and Emerald Fennell 'to star in Wagatha Christie drama'

Jodie Comer and Emerald Fennell 'to star in Wagatha Christie drama' Jodie Comer, 29, and Emerald Fennell, 36, are reportedly in the frame to appear in a TV drama about the Wagatha Christie trial. It is claimed Jodie, 29, is seen as the perfect star to play Coleen Rooney while Emerald, 36, would appear as Rebekah Vardy. Coleen, 36, reigned victorious as the long-awaited verdict in the sensational £3million Wagatha trial was announced on Friday, with the WAG winning her libel battle against Rebekah, 40.

“Her performance drastically failed to impress, choreographed by slower speech acts and self processing,” Dr. Arthur added.

Dr. Arthur continued to note that Rebekah’s anxiety levels were “maximised” during the interview and that “she struggled to control her inner anger under the scrutiny of Kate McCann”.

He went on: “She did not have the authenticity to show her complete emotional transparency, hence the caution as she carefully put together every sentence. There was a lack of synchrony throughout as her emotional functioning came under the powerful radar of journalistic scrutiny."

"Vardy during the interview was trying to balance her ego strength with emotional phobia of what to disclose or not and more so she was discerning enough to ‘permit’ her emotions that reflected her stressful state and despair to socially influence the viewers and win their sympathy," Dr. Arthur added.

One of the things Rebekah discussed with Kate during the interview was her previously made comments about Peter Andre, 49.

Rebekah and Peter enjoyed a fling in 2001, when she was just 21, but the now-WAG later made some unsavoury comments about the size of his manhood to now-defunct newspaper News of the World.

Rebekah continued to deny that she had leaked stories about Coleen in the interview, but when Kate pointed out the story that Rebekah had sold on Peter, Rebekah said she "deeply regrets" her comments.

She said: "I didn't leak that. That was a story I put my name to and it was something that I deeply regret and I'm deeply ashamed of, but it was so long ago.

"You know, life was so different for me then and I tried to explain the situation in which that came up and, you know, I just think that was wrong for him [Peter] to have been brought into that situation.

"He had nothing to do with it. That had nothing to do with what I was accused of."
