EastEnders fans have compared Keanu Taylor to Jack Branning after his shock love interest was revealed. The former mechanic, played by Danny Walters, is known for being a bit of a playboy.

Him and older woman Sharon Watts (Leticia Dean) embarked on a steamy affair in 2018 when Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) was away on business. If that wasn’t enough to warrant a death sentence in Phil’s book, Keanu then cheated on the Hartman’s daughter Louise Mitchell (Tilly Keeper). He was nearly brown bread when Ben (Max Bowden) ordered Martin Fowler (James Bye) to kill him.

But at the last minute Martin let Keanu go and faked his death before helping him go on the run - after nearly two years away, Keanu recently sauntered back onto the square much to fans’ delight.

And while at first, it seemed he was back to help bent copper Keeble (Alison Newman) bring down Phil, we now know it is all pretend and he is in fact helping Phil stay out of prison, in return for him not ending up in a morgue.

There could be a problem though, Keanu is hiding a secret that could threaten to push his former nemesis over the edge. He slept with Phil’s sister Sam (Kim Medcalf) while she was living in Portugal.

Others were quick to share their thoughts on Keanu’s dating record. “He’s been with Phil’s wife, sister and daughter! Who next? Grant?” One penned.

“Same as Jack he kept it in the family as well,” another said. A third commented: “Same as Jack he kept it in the family” while a fourth said: “He’s part of the Brannings ain’t he?” And a fifth wrote: “Would have had Peggy if he had time. Guess Aunt Sally has a chance.”
