Danny Dyer has addressed soap fans' Mick Carter theories and revealed that there is an alternative ending to his recent dramatic EastEnders exit.
Only recently, Danny's, 45, character Mick appeared to be "killed off" on Sunday's episode as he bowed out of the soap after nine years.
Mick tried to save his ex-wife Linda Carter, who he had just reunited with, after she and Janine Butcher drove off a cliff and into the English Channel, where he disappeared at sea.
Appearing on Tuesday's episode of The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan with his daughter Dani Dyer, Danny was grilled about his soap exit and any possible returns.

Since the scenes aired, soap watchers have come up with theories as to how Mick could make a return in the future, even suggesting he could do a Harold Bishop from Neighbours, who returned from being lost at sea with amnesia.
Talking about his exit on Tuesday, Danny said: "It's an end of an era for me, I've had ten years in that show, it's a long stretch for me. It's time to move on."
He added: "I don't want to come back, is what I'm saying..." to which daughter Dani exclaimed: "Oh my God, dad!"
Danny quickly continued: "But that could be anything, couldn't it? It's ambiguous..."

Suggesting a possible return and likening it to the time "Dirty" Den Watts, played by late actor Leslie Grantham, returned on EastEnders in 2003, host Mo said: "No, you can come back man, they brought back Dirty Den!"
With Danny replying: "No, I can't", adding: "I don't fancy it, Mo. I think I’ve done it now, I’ve done over 1,000 episodes. I don't think there's much more I can do in it."
Elsewhere, in a different interview, the actor revealed about his final soap scenes: "There was an alternative ending, to be fair, but we’ve not gone with that."
