It’s tempting for producers, who are going to invest millions of dollars, to opt for storylines that the public is already familiar with, but their films will inevitably be compared to the original. A family says a loving couple has been "reunited forever" as a man died just two weeks after his fiancée following a fire at their home.
Kieran Naylor, 33, died on Boxing Day, after 32-year-old Rebecca Foster succumbed to her injuries following the blaze at the property in Daresbury, Cheshire.
Relatives said the pair had planned to spend the rest of their lives together and described them as the "perfect couple".
In a tribute, Kieran's family said: "Words cannot express how completely heartbroken and devastated we are to have lost Kieran. Our lives will never be the same.
Fire service warns against 'risk to life' TikTok heating 'hack'
Firefighters have issued a warning after a TikTok heating "hack" caused a flat to catch fire.Around 50 people had to be evacuated from their homes after a blaze broke out in Gower Street, Derby, but nobody was injured.
"Kieran really was the best son, brother and uncle that anyone could have wished for and he will be sorely missed by everyone who had the pleasure to have known him. Kieran and Rebecca are now reunited forever and they will always be in our hearts. We would like to thank everyone who tried to help Kieran and Rebecca following the fire and would ask that we are left to grieve in peace at this time."
Police said an investigation into the cause of the fire is still ongoing, but it is not believed to be suspicious, reports Manchester Evening News.
Rebecca's family had previously said: "Rebecca was a loving and caring daughter and our lives have been absolutely torn apart by her death. She and Kieran made the perfect couple, and the pair were planning to spend the rest of their lives together, but sadly they will never be able to fulfil their dreams.
"We would like to thank everyone who tried to help Rebecca and Kieran on the night of the fire for all their efforts and would ask that we are left to grieve in peace at this difficult time."
The fire broke out on December 12, just weeks before Christmas.
