ECB Resolutions

At its present meeting, the ECB Council concluded that the data available since its last meeting has strengthened its expectation that the net purchase of Assets should be prepared as part of its program for purchasing assets (app) in the third quarter. The monetary policy of the ECB will depend on newly available data and the changing assessment of the outlook by the ECB Council. The ECB Council will take any action required to meet the ECB's price stability mandate and to maintain financial stability is stated in the Communication of the ECB.

In addition, the ECB intends to restore the repayment amounts of the securities acquired as part of the PPP at least until the end of 2024 at maturity. Future expiration of the PEPP portfolio is thus controlled in such a way that impairment of the appropriate monetary policy price is avoided.
