Ralf must sign £31.5m-rated beast who “isn’t getting beaten” for MUFC, he’s Rio 2.0 - opinion Manchester United have not made any moves in the transfer window so far in terms of new additions but have been linked with a host of players in various positions, with the appointment of Ralf Rangnick building hope of a change in direction for the club as they seek their first trophy since 2017. The […]The club have had another disappointing season, struggling to get comfortable in the top four, winning just nine of their first 19 league games, but they have had a good run so far under Rangnick since he joined the club in November.

Bowen, 25, has reached new levels with the Hammers this season. In 32 appearances this season, he has nine goals and eight assists. An England call-up also looks to be imminent.

And, speaking to talkSPORT, Tony Cascarino has revealed why he wants Liverpool to bring him in should Salah depart.

“I actually thought, if we lost Mo Salah, who could we logically go after?” the boyhood Reds fan asked.

“Well, the lad Bowen at West Ham ticks all those boxes. He’s tenacious, he chases everything and is decent technically, but not extraordinary.

“I keep thinking who would fit into that Liverpool frontline because Klopp loves those kinds of players in wide areas, who will chase and hassle players. He does all the ugly things for his team, and will always get chances.”

Cascarino added: “Klopp seems to love players that are really tenacious who will never give up and will chase.

“They don’t have to be technically absolutely brilliant, because Mane’s not, they’re good, but they’re not technical geniuses like when you look at Bernardo Silva, David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne.

“They’re not like that, but they’re all tenacious, he really loves that.”
