Many believe that the incoming player will be Garrick, who had a great loan spell in League One last term. The 24-year-old joined Swansea in 2015 but has been restricted to just a single league start amid 19 appearances for the Welsh side and has been made available for loan again this season after not featuring at all in the Swans' Carabao Cup defeat at Oxford United.

Granit Xhaka exposes new Arsenal 'mystery winger' transfer with Gabriel Martinelli comparison

Granit Xhaka exposes new Arsenal 'mystery winger' transfer with Gabriel Martinelli comparison Granit Xhaka hints at Arsenal's new 'mystery winger' following his praise for new signing Marquinhos The Gunners have been searching for a midfielder and a winger throughout the window without much success in finding an ideal winger. Young Brazilian star Marquinhos was signed at the start of the summer, but it was believed he would be used as a youth team player than taking part with the first-team.

Garrick spent last season on loan at Plymouth, where he bagged seven goals in 50 appearances in an impressive season for the Pilgrims in League One, which is what makes him an appealing acquisition for Kennedy.

He has also had a stint on loan at Swindon over the second half of the 2020-21 season, scoring two goals amid 19 appearances as the Robins were relegated to League Two. Overall, the Englishman has made 61 appearances in League One with Plymouth and Swindon and amassed 15 goal contributions,

The Imps have made six signings so far this summer in Kennedy’s first transfer window as Lincoln boss, and adding Garrick in the wide positions should add some extra creativity to the team. The Imps have managed just one goal in their first two league games but did find that goal-scoring touch in their Carabao Cup first-round victory away at Doncaster Rovers, with three different players getting on the scoresheet.
