With the Windows 11 insiders, Microsoft tests a new function in Windows 11 when uninstalling programs: If dependencies are recognized, i.e. the function of other programs is no longer guaranteed, a program can no longer be removed.

A classic example of this is Steam. If you uninstall the Steam client from your PC, all games acquired with Steam can no longer be started because the license can no longer be checked. In such cases, Windows 11 no longer allows uninstallation, so all programs that have corresponding dependencies must first be removed.

Microsoft may not yet be sure whether this is a sensible idea, because the change is described as "provisional". So you have to continue to observe, at the moment it only affects the insiders in the beta channel and only those who receive the build version 22622.xxx.

The beta channel has been divided into two for some time, and the builds 22621,598 and 22622,598 are currently being distributed there. Innovations are only in the 22622 rail. Apart from the above change, there are only a few bug fixes in the current test versions, the complete changelog can be found on the Windows Blog as usual.
