The first large feature update for Windows 11 is almost in the starting blocks. Version 22H2 is ready and already internally in regular maintenance mode. It is not yet known when it will be published, but the scope of the innovations contained therein is largely lashed.

Update from September 17: Since the publication of the update is closer and many readers have missed our large series on the summer vacation, I will get the article and overview again.

As is the case for a Windows rapporteur, I wanted to prepare an overview article that deals with the innovations in version 22h2. However, it quickly became clear to me: either I can only roam the topics, or the article becomes so extensive that nobody reads it over.

Windows 11: Insider version brings new things for task bar, store and file sharing

Windows 11: Insider version brings new things for task bar, store and file sharing © provided by Dr. Windows Windows Insider Cover The Taskbar of Windows 11 is always the focus of discussions because it is the element of Windows 11, which suffered the most from the "simplification" of the user interface. In the current insider version, Microsoft brings one of the missing functions back.

I therefore decided to make a series out of it. Articles of articles often have the disadvantage that you do it and then do not implement it as you thought that, mostly due to time constraints. I can assure you that it is different in this case, because the more eleven articles are all ready. Starting today. A contribution will appear every day at 2 p.m. until Thursday next week, which will bring you closer to the innovations in Windows 11 version 22H2.

You will be surprised at what has come together, because I was also writing, even though I deal with it every day and of course I am also Windows Insider.

I hope you look in every day, because for you I finally did the work for you and as always I enjoyed doing it.

This post is updated here, I will gradually list the already published parts here. If you don't want to miss anything, you can simply sit on this article.

The final version will probably appear in autumn. Microsoft is not only working on a new function update for Windows 11, and there is also a greater update for Windows 10. So far, the software company has publicly announced little about the update, but a first pre -version is now available in the release Preview Channel for participants in the Windows Insider Program for Business.

you should get an appetite on version 22H2 through the contributions, so you can already install them via the release Preview channel of the Windows Insider program. It is still a preliminary version, so you generally have to count on errors, but the update is basically ready and the risk is accordingly manageable.

New Windows 11 feature in the test: Uninstalling programs with dependencies not possible .

A classic example of this is Steam. If you uninstall the Steam client from your PC, all games acquired with Steam can no longer be started because the license can no longer be checked.
