After reassessing the history of Paris through its metro stations, actor Lorànt Deutsch tells like a novel The history of Brittany of the Stone Age today with Metrobreizh.
Interview with Lorànt Deutsch, comedian and author of Metrobreizh.
After the history of Paris with metronome, you go back to the history of Brittany with Metrobreizh?
in Paris I started with the names of metro stations that were a pretext for exploring the history of Paris. I leave this time too much of the toponymy. We start from the age of stone in Carnac, then the iron age with the history of Roscoff, and a century per cent century until today. It's a romance trip through history.

Why are you interested in Brittany more particularly?
It has been three years since I no longer live in Paris. I am a native of Sablé-sur-Sarthe and that's where the Treaty of the Orchard, which announced the scheduled attachment of the Brittany to France. I have always looked at Brittany at a time as a neighbor who looks over the hedge and as a foreign land. A TERRA ICOGNITA which is a great history of stories. When I play Shakespeare I imagine in the Forest of Brocéliande!
Has the Breton language given you a hard time?
I had to agree not to make an appointment with the Breton language because it is too diverse from one territory to another it would require years of study! I thought the word Breizh was bound to Brest: not at all! The etymology is more talking with Rosporden which means "the Breton hill", to bring closer to the British ...

What a corner of Brittany to your favorite?
I am familiar with Morbihan and Gavrinis Island with her tumulus, it's the Sistine Chapel of Brittany! This landscape between land and sea gives off a magic that overwhelms you .... I also chose to talk about the martyrdom, a small village but great story, the one where Salomon King of Brittany came to be trapped. And after valves and glazed, I am tracking in the streets of Rennes for a new episode of my YouTube channel: the story at all Berzingue: from antiquity to today in 10 minutes!
