Jake Dennis Will the race weekend of Formula E in the Italian capital Rome certainly want to forget quickly. The Briton had to fight in both runs with the PACE of his Andretti BMW and did not come beyond a 13th place. In the second race on Sunday, he even fell out after contact with Lucas di Grassi.
di Grassi was occupied for his "div bomb", as Dennis called the maneuver of the Formula E-Veterans, with a five-second penalty. But that was not the only setback for Andretti, because the pace of the Boliding with BMW drive left a lot to be desired in the race. Dennis continued the car in qualifying on Sunday morning on the second starting place.
The 2022 Subaru WRX Pulls Double Duty
Part weekday commuter and part weekend sports car, the Subaru WRX is a performance car that does it all.The 2022 WRX is about 3 inches longer and 2 inches wider than its predecessor, and while it's based on the standard Impreza , no body panels are shared between the two cars. The sedan's rear end looks great with some sleek BRZ-ish taillights, and I dig the larger grille up front. Also of note: Every scoop and vent you see on the WRX is functional for either aerodynamics or cooling.
Dennis then quickly fell back piece by piece, until the race after the shub of di Grassi took a premature end. "We were just slow," said the Brite. "You are always pushed through the area when you are too slow. Everyone can see that and that means there is a position there that you can do."
"The energy was ok, but we always had to go from gas in the curves," said the Andretti pilot. "It all ran against us today. We had a good car for qualifying, but in the race, the vehicle was just not there because it was not easy for efficiency. It is not easy to digest that. Last year we were very much in the race Strong, this year the opposite seems to be the case. "
In the first race on Saturday Dennis also received a five-second penalty for easy contact with Antonio Felix Da Costa in Curve 7. This is the same punishment that Di Grassi has received on Sunday for the shubs against Dennis. According to Dennis, DI Grassis maneuver was significantly harder, which is why he does not understand why it has given the same punishment.
"I find it bizarre that he has received a five-second punishment for the action against me on Sunday," says Dennis. "I just touched Costa and get five seconds for it. These penalties do not make sense in my opinion." Dennis is in ten of the overall standings after the fifth season race. The Formula E is guested on April 30 for Round Six in Monaco, where the complete Grand Prix Course will be driven for the first time.
