Life is going to change dramatically for everyone in the Chrisley family now that Todd and Julie have each been sentenced to several years in prison after being found guilty of conspiracy to defraud banks. It sounds like 25-year-old daughter Savannah will be taking over as head of the family by pursuing full custody of her 16-year-old brother, Grayson, and 10-year-old niece, Chloe (who is brother Kyle Chrisley's daughter that Todd and Julie adopted).

"I may come home without both of my parents," the 25-year-old explained on her podcast. "That's what the chances are. That's the likelihood, and that's my new normal. According to reports, her parents will have to turn themselves in on January 15, and the thought of not having them around prompted Savannah to tear up. Todd was sentenced to 12 years in prison, while Julie was given a seven-year sentence. Julie's attorney tried to get the judge to grant her leniency due to some extenuating circumstances.

Their 31-year-old son, Kyle, signed over custody of his daughter to his parents when she was just a toddler. Julie asked the judge to take this into consideration during her sentencing, as well as the fact that she is the main caregiver for her eldery mother.

The courts may feel that [justice is being served](https://cafemom.com/entertainment/188569-20_celebrities_who_served_time), but for the children left behind, this has to feel like a nightmare. "[I'm] trying to navigate how you teach two younger children who aren't fully developed yet and get them to understand the circumstances," Savannah explained. "That's a really, really difficult thing."
