Introducing the Cluck Sandwich, complete with pickles and mystery sauce all on a brioche bun.The Cluck Sandwich will be available for a limited time at the company's 2,200+ locations across 21 states, Jack in the Box recently announced. It comes with a crispy chicken fillet, pickles, and the mystery sauce between two toasted brioche buns. It's also available as a combo meal with a small fry and small drink, as well as a deluxe deal with bacon, cheddar cheese, and guacamole.

More than 3,100 products owned by 218 qualifying vendors will feature the shelf labels, which will clearly identify whether products are from businesses that are Women, Asian-Indian, Asian-Pacific, Black, Hispanic, LGBTQ, or Veteran-owned. The labels will roll out at all of the chain's 164 locations across Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C.

Beyond Meat will be the primary supplier of the steak contained in McPlant, the plant-based burger currently in testing at McDonald's restaurants around the world. The two groups, who have been collaborating since 2019 on , also plan to explore and develop other dishes and products together, such as plant-based chicken, pork, and egg options, they add. The goal is to enable McDonald's to offer a wide range of plant products. This "strategic" agreement is an "important step in our journey to bring quality menus and delicious plant-based products to our customers," said Francesca DeBiase, a McDonald's executive, quoted in the statement.

As for Yum! Brands, the group was the first to offer a plant-based chicken substitute via its KFC chain in 2019 in the United States thanks to a collaboration with Beyond Meat. Last year, it was followed by an offer of pizzas, through Pizza Hut, with vegetable sausages provided by the young shoot. "We hope that this (strategic) partnership with Beyond Meat will strengthen our brands," said Chris Turner, CFO, quoted in the press release. Financial terms of the two agreements were not disclosed.
