Yelp lets customers report if a business is following COVID protocols
If a consensus of reviewers agree a business is following COVID protocols, it will get a green check on its Yelp page. If the feedback is negative or mixed, it'ill get an orange question mark. Ratings will only be assigned to businesses when a consensus is reached from several different responses, to 'mitigate potential misuse.'Yelp has also added several new features for restaurants, including 'heated outdoor seating' and 'disposable or contactless menu.

Use: All-purpose yogurt substitute
In most cases, plain yogurt or Greek yogurt can be used in place of sour cream—and vice versa. Sour cream will give you a similar texture and tanginess, and swapping sour cream for yogurt is a simple 1-to-1 ratio. Where it gets tricky is if you're using a fat-free variety: In that case, the substitution only works for cold recipes, like dips. Otherwise, the texture will be off.
Use: Regular yogurt substitute
Don't shy away from that lonely Greek yogurt container in the back of your fridge. Greek yogurt is just as good as the regular stuff for baking, dips and sauces. Just like sour cream, Greek yogurt is a 1-to-1 substitute for regular yogurt. Plus, there are a ton of benefits to eating Greek yogurt.

Mayonnaise is short on acidity, so it doesn't make a good yogurt substitute. When a recipe calls for yogurt, it’s formulated to account for the yogurt's acid. When you substitute mayo, you’re missing out on having the acid react with the leavener (like baking soda).
Cottage cheese also lacks the acidity that yogurt provides, so it won't spark the same chemical reactions. Even in cold recipes, you'll get a very different flavor and texture. But don't let that cottage cheese go to waste! Try one of these cottage cheese recipes.

This artisan French country bread is made with a sourdough starter, giving it an earthy, tangy flavor. Before baking, it's formed into a rustic loaf and scored with a bread lame to allow the top to expand as it bakes. The result is delightfully crusty on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside. Pain de campagne can be used to make sandwiches or toast, but it's packed with flavor, so our favorite way to enjoy it is simply with a pat of good butter.
Pain complet is sometimes called wholemeal bread because of the addition of whole wheat flour. It can be made with 100 percent whole wheat (when it's sometimes referred to as pain integral) or a mixture of whole wheat and white flours. It's a hearty bread, which is why we like serving it on the side of soup or stew.

The cuts are slathered with a garlic- and herb-infused butter and baked to perfection.

Pain au Son
This hearty bread is made with at least 25 percent bran. After the dough is mixed, it rises in a greased loaf pan, creating a dense loaf with a tight crumb. You'll often find it topped with extra wheat bran or oats. Bran bread has more fiber than you'll find in most French bread, making it a nutritious option. Pain au son can also be formed into rolls instead of a loaf, so try serving it as dinner rolls.
Despite its name, this bread from Normandy doesn't actually contain brie (or any cheese at all, for that matter). The word brie refers to the extended kneading process involved in making this buttery bread, creating a tight gluten structure that makes the loaf very soft. Before it bakes, the top is scored to give it a unique look. It's traditionally used to make Charlotte de pommes, a dessert filled with fruit or custard.

Nearly 40% of restaurant owners couldn't pay rent in June, new survey finds .
Many restaurant owners blame the ongoing labor shortage, which has left them short-staffed as dining rooms reopen.Alignable is an online network for small businesses with 6.5 million members, and it releases monthly statistics based on surveys. The June numbers are an improvement for restaurants, with 49 percent unable to pay rent in May, but the industry still lags behind small businesses as a whole. 37 percent of all small businesses were unable to pay rent in June, for example.
