Since opening Friday-Sunday in early November, Sydney bakery Lode Pies and Pastries has been shutting their doors early after customers clear the shelves long before closing time.

The little pink bakery on Crown Street in Surry Hills has taken social media by storm thanks their range of their Instagrammable sweet and savoury treats made with layers upon layers of flaky pastry and stylish chic interior.

The Crown on 487 is a braided ring of croissant dough filled with raspberry and white chocolate glaze and decorated with rose and pistachios.

The LuMi Pithivier, a pie filled with wagyu brisket, shiitake mushroom and accompanied by chicken and cream glaze, is another hot favourite with Lode customers.

Another popular menu items include the Blueberry tart with macadamia frangipane, blueberry jam, cream cheese crème patissiere, fresh blueberries, and lime zest in a croissant dough nest.
