Celebrate Mexican Independence Day

Another noteworthy event in LA Times ongoing Food Bowl, sleek and sophisticated Damian will come alive for a Mexican Independence Day celebration, with an array of food and drink stations, including a ceviche and raw bar by chef Balo Orozco of Sunset Cultures, Poncho’s Tlayudas, Concha Ice Cream Sandwiches dreamt up by in-house pastry chef Josh Ulmer and Gusto Bread, plus drinks from Casa Dragones, Monopolio, Yola, and Agua Magica. DJ Que Madre will be spinning hits throughout the evening and a Mariachi performance will take place at midnight to honor Mexico City’s “El Grito” tradition. I haven’t made as many recipes for these delicious […] What do Apple Cheddar Ebelskiver taste like? The batter is not super sweet. If you know me at all, you know I’m not someone that loves anything with a ton of sugar in it. So, the batter just has 2 tablespoons of brown sugar in there. To elevate the sweetness is a bit of vanilla extract. And, of course, the diced apples.
