Downhill Dining: These Mountain Huts Redefine Perfect Ski Conditions in Italy’s Dolomites

If you stay long enough, the DJ starts spinning, and the deck turns into a dance party. Rustic wood-paneled walls are covered with old snapshots of skiers, world leaders, and signed letters on Ferrari letterhead. Disco balls and chandeliers hang from wooden beams; chairs are draped with fur blankets. Meanwhile, a formal dining room dressed in white linens begins to get crowded with skiers in bright boots and neon snowpants—pops of color against the white-out conditions outside.
This award was separated by the thinnest of margins, with Marcus Smart edging Mikal Bridges by three total points, according to the ballots collected by HoopsHype. If Smart wins the award, he’d be the first guard to win this category since Gary Payton in 1996.
