Texas Gov. Abbott signs bill regulating leaving dogs tied up outside
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) signed a bill into law Monday that prohibits using certain restraints on dogs and makes doing so a crime in the State of Texas, according to the Texas Tribune. Abbott had previously vetoed a similar bill over the summer, saying that "Texas is no place for this kind of micro-managing and over-criminalization." Abbott vetoing the bill caused a lot of backlash, as reported by KXAN, and the hashtag #AbbottHatesDogs trended on Twitter soon after his dismissal of the proposed bill. This new bill is similar to the one that was proposed over the summer and vetoed by Abbott, as reported by the Tribune.

In "My Kind of Present," a song from her holiday album A Very Trainor Christmas, the singer, 27, reads to her baby boy Riley, who was born in February.
Riley's father, Trainor's husband Daryl Sabara, also shows up in the video, playing with his kind of present — a Sony PlayStation — while his wife decorates a white Christmas tree.
Sabara, 29, also has a role in the twist ending of the video, which features three backup singers, some very glam get-ups on Trainor, countless beautifully wrapped gifts and even more shining bows (counting the ones she wears and has put on her tree).
Jimmy O. Yang's Crab Club feasts on Asian American stories
One of the hottest “clubs'' in Hollywood is run by “Crazy Rich Asians” actor Jimmy O. Yang and his producing partners. There's no DJ or bottle service. If you gain entry, you better know how to eat a Dungeness crab. Yang, whose Netflix holiday rom-com “Love Hard” drops Friday, has been turning Crab Club, the production company he operates alongside Jessica Gao and Ken Cheng, into a real Hollywood force. Why Crab Club? The moniker comes from their regular crab dinners with other Asian American friends working in entertainment. The aim was not just to eat, but also to support each other. The meals rotate among their Los Angeles-area homes.
As the video ends, the camera zooms in on the book Trainor is reading to her son, revealing its title, Rileys Book, and a card that indicates it's a gift from Sabara to his wife and their child.
