The win is big for the Phillies, who are currently 0.5 games out of a Wild Card spot in the NL — an impressive feat given how downtrodden the team was at the start of the season. Philadelphia fired manager Joe Girardi in June after the team started the season 22-29. Charlie Sheen was spotted out running errands in Los Angeles on Wednesday, while subtly promoting his new TV series.
The 56-year-old actor was announced in March to star in a new TV series entitled Ramble On, with Sheen spotted wearing a baseball cap for the show while running errands.
Sheen was spotted getting gas and doing some grocery shopping on a sunny afternoon.
The actor was spotted wearing a maroon t-shirt and a light black hoodie while holding a beverage and filling his car up with gas.
It isn’t known if the Cards are close to a deal on either player, though it would seem like the scope of a trade involving Gorman would be quite different than the scope of a Sosa deal.Gorman is one of the game’s top prospects, and he has started his big-league career with a respectable 110 wRC+ (from a .229/.303/.430 slash line and 10 home runs) over his first 198 plate appearances in the Show. Under normal circumstances, the Cardinals wouldn’t be looking to move such a potential cornerstone player at all, except Gorman has reportedly been part of the club’s discussions with the Nationals about Juan Soto. Sheen has acted sparingly since his FX series Anger Management went off the air in 2014, though it was announced (via Deadline) in March he'll return to the small screen in Ramble On.
Sheen will be part of a massive cast that includes his own father Martin Sheen, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon, Kimiko Glenn, Bre-Z, John C. Some scouts believe Johnson is the best high school hitter they’ve seen in more than a decade.Top-two selections Jackson Holliday and Druw Jones were the only players in the class to beat Johnson’s bonus. That’s no surprise, as the left-handed-hitting infielder was a consensus top-five talent available. FanGraphs and The Athletic each placed Johnson third on their predraft rankings. He placed fourth at Baseball America and second at ESPN.

The show was created by Entourage creator Doug Ellin, who self-financed the pilot with Ted Foxman, who he formed the new production company Angry Lunch with.
The series will follow Sheen, Dillon and Connolly playing themselves, following, 'Hollywood veterans looking to reinvent their voices alongside up and comers looking to establish their own.'
The Astros have reportedly been in the mix for upgrades at catcher and at first base, prominently connected to both Willson Contreras and Josh Bell. However, while those two represent the arguable top options at those respective positions, the asking price on both has been high, and Houston is exploring alternative options. Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic writes this morning that the ’Stros “are focusing more on Vazquez” than Contreras at this point, adding that they’ve also expressed interest in Rays first baseman/designated hitter Ji-Man Choi.

The pilot episode wrapped production in early March, and the producers, including Gary Goldman and Jeremy Alter, have been in talks with distributors.
'This idea has been spinning in my head for years and seeing it come to life is incredible,' Ellin said in a statement.
'I feel beyond grateful that so many of my Entourage crew and cast members, along with some of the most talented, comedic forces in the industry, have joined us on this exciting new journey. We cannot wait to share this with the world,' he added.
Sheen most recently made headlines when he disapproved of daughter Sami Sheen starting an OnlyFans account.
While Sami said it's 'totally fine' that her father disapproved, he later said he approved after being 'illuminated' on the subject by Sami's mother Denise Richards.
The Houston Astros have landed the offensive upgrade they’d been seeking, acquiring first baseman Trey Mancini from the Orioles as part of a three-team trade. Center fielder José Siri goes from Houston to Tampa Bay, while a trio of pitching prospects also find themselves on the move. The Rays send Seth Johnson to the Orioles, while they move Jayden Murray to Houston. Chayce McDermott heads from the Astros to the Orioles to complete the deal. In order to clear a spot for Siri on the 40-man roster, Tampa Bay designated outfielder Brett Phillips for assignment.

Reds planning to select righty T.J. Zeuch, will start Wednesday .
Zeuch isn’t currently on the club’s 40-man roster, though the club currently has a vacancy there. Assuming they don’t add anyone between now and Wednesday, a corresponding move will only be required to add him to the active roster. © Nathan Ray Seebeck-USA TODAY Sports Former Toronto Blue Jays pitcher T.J.
