Herschel Walker's supporters are suggesting Ron DeSantis would be better on Georgia campaign trail than Donald Trump, report says
The merits of Trump's presence are being debated, and Georgia Republicans feel that DeSantis' support would be a big boost, CNN reported. So far, Americans have dealt devastating blows to his brand by rejecting key candidates in closely-contested races. Rather than a so-called "red wave," results were still unclear on Wednesday. Republicans are likely to win control of the House but the Senate is still in play for both parties.

Both sides spent more than $241 million on the race while neither candidate reached the 50 percent mark required to seal the election. Per Georgia state election law, Walker and Warnock advance to a head-to-head run-off election.
The campaign turned particularly nasty in the hours before last Tuesday’s election. The runoff cycle will be no different.
Walker, for his part, raised an eye-popping $3.3 million in the first 24 hours of the new race. But his campaign has had to contend with the presence of former president Donald Trump.
Former WH Press Sec. Jen Psaki said Donald Trump is a 'loser' who cost seats for Republicans in the midterms
Psaki said members of the GOP are probably begging Trump not to announce his 2024 plans "before the Georgia runoff because he's such a problem."So far, Americans have dealt devastating blows to his brand by rejecting key candidates in closely-contested races. Rather than a so-called "red wave," results were still unclear on Wednesday. Republicans are likely to win control of the House but the Senate is still in play for both parties.
Walker’s campaign asked Trump to campaign elsewhere during the race’s closing hours. Walker’s campaign has welcomed the help of popular Republican governors like Brian Kemp of Georgia and Ron DeSantis of Florida.
Earlier this week, Trump declared his intentions to run for the presidency in 2024. He also went out of his way to endorse Walker, whom he called “a great athlete who will be an even better Senator.”
The Warnock campaign released an ad Friday that targeted Trump’s endorsement of Walker. The ad shows Trump’s endorsement of Walker from his resort Mar-a-Largo in Florida.
“Get out and vote for Herschel Walker,” Trump says in the ad.
The screen fades to black and then says, “Stop Donald Trump. Stop Herschel Walker.”
Georgia voters head to the polls on Dec. 6th.

"I get that's his style, that's his instinct, it's worked before, it certainly worked in the 2016 primary process, but...it's a really high risk instinct.
