Troy Aikman shares his feelings on Jimmy Garoppolo
Troy Aikman shared his thoughts on Jimmy Garoppolo while broadcasting “Monday Night Football” between the San Francisco 49ers and Arizona Cardinals in Week 11. Aikman gave a positive review of the Niners quarterback entering the game. “I’ve liked him for a long time,” Aikman said of Garoppolo. “And I think when you look at this season, 2022, for the short term, I think he’s the right guy to be quarterbacking this team. He’s won a lot of games for the 49ers, and I think he’s playing really good football — especially on third down.”Garoppolo has the fourth-best passer rating in the NFL this season on third down plays.

On Monday, the ManningCast returned for the Week 13 contest between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New Orleans Saints. The shambolic NFC South may not make for an enjoyable watch, but with Tom Brady at the helm anything is possible, right?
Unfortunately for Buccaneers fans, Brady coughed up a brutal interception at the most unfortunate time. With Tampa Bay down 7-3 with a minute and a half left in the second quarter, Brady fired a quick pass down the middle, hoping to keep the Buccaneers marching down the field for a score. Instead, the ball went right into the hands of Demario Davis for the interception, stopping the Buccaneers right in their tracks for their last play of the half.
Packers working out familiar ex-receiver
It may not be Davante Adams, but Aaron Rodgers could be soon getting some help from an old buddy, a receiver who spent the first four seasons of his NFL career with the Packers.Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reported on Tuesday that the former Packers receiver Geronimo Allison was back in Green Bay this week for a workout with the team. Allison, 28, is still unsigned to this point of the NFL season.
On the ManningCast, Manning and Moss — who was the guest on at the time — both had the exact same pained reaction after Brady turned it over.
The best part is clearly Eli Manning sitting there completely straight faced while his brother and Moss work through the five stages of grief live on air. MORE:
