Former NFL star receiver Torrey Smith, a two-time Super Bowl champ, expressed his dismay on social media about a youth football coach who was fined $500 and suspended two games for winning a game by the score of 36-0.

Smith took to Twitter to vent his frustration after learning about this, which occurred in his wife’s hometown.

He then broke down five reasons why this news made him so upset, and looking at his explanation it’s hard to argue with Smith.

Learning to work through failure is a key to thriving in this life, to be sure. Depriving kids of that opportunity isn’t going to help them as adults, in this scribe’s humble opinion.
