Took a look back at Jrue Holiday’s return from COVID-19 to see what it might be able to tell us about how the Bucks will bring Khris Middleton back.
More than 10,000 patients caught Covid-19 in a hospital, analysis shows. They never made it out
More than 10,000 patients were diagnosed with covid in a U.S. hospital last year after they were admitted for something else, according to federal and state records analyzed exclusively for KHN. The number is certainly an undercount, since it includes mostly patients 65 and older, plus California and Florida patients of all ages. Yet in the scheme of things that can go wrong in a hospital, it is catastrophic: About 21% of the patients who contracted covid in the hospital from April to September last year died, the data shows. In contrast, nearly 8% of other Medicare patients died in the hospital at the time.
He is expected to get back on the floor tonight and then go from there. At @TheAthletic: theathletic.com/2960522/2021/1… – 1:35 PM Mike Trudell @LakersReporter

Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks are still a juggernaut lying in wait
Mike Budenholzer greeted Ime Udoka with a hug and a smile in a TD Garden corridor after the former San Antonio Spurs assistants met for the first time as head coaches. The latter's Boston Celtics just handed the former's defending champion Milwaukee Bucks an overtime loss. Budenholzer retreated to his coaches' locker room, where he was met by a handful of guests carrying Celtics gear from the pro shop. "Adversity's always going to hit at some"I just forgot about the loss," he said, his friends instantly removing the sting of a sub-.500 start.

76ers deny report about Ben Simmons ghosting them .
It’s hard to know who is telling the truth. Obviously, the 76ers want to cover up any dysfunction that might exist. They need rival teams to think their relationship with Simmons is just fine and that they are content to keep him.During a podcast interview with Steve Lipman and Dan Volpone of Liberty Ballers, Bleacher Report’s Jake Fischer shared some interesting information about the relationship between Simmons and the 76ers. Fischer said the team hasn’t been able to get in touch with Simmons this offseason and that the two sides have never really been on the same page.
