Clyde had two plays yesterday in the redzone that I saw while reviewing the play-by-play. One TD reception that was called back for Offensive PI, and one Rushing attempt that went for -1 yard. Clyde 's total Redzone rushing is now as follows for 2020 so far. My personal theory is he throws the ball with ridiculous zip all the time and when he goes to throw these short dump offs he tries to take something off and it completely messes up his form and feel. Probably also doesn't help that he's usually running for his life and its harder to see players in the flat and if they are actually open when you're scrambling.
Spin: Though Edwards - Helaire is clearly trending in the right direction, Reid acknowledges that there's a chance the Chiefs could hold the running back out this weekend, with the team's upcoming bye in Week 12 in mind. If that ends up being the case, Darrel Williams would be in line to continue to head Kansas ESPN Fantasy Projection: Expectations were sky high for Edwards - Helaire last season after the LSU product was selected by the Super Bowl champion Chiefs in the first round of the draft. Despite being handed a feature role out of the gate, "CEH" didn't live up to expectations, managing only two
Taunting penalties have been controversial in the NFL this season as they've been a point of emphasis for officials. On Sunday we got yet another example of how those calls have gone too far. Kansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire was called for taunting after pointing at a Dallas Cowboys linebacker Luke Gifford as he walked into the end zone.
Here's the play in question:

Kansas City’s offense appeared to get its mojo back in Sunday night’s 41-14 victory over Las Vegas. Now it sounds like the unit will get a key contributor back in time for the upcoming Week 11 matchup with the Cowboys. #Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards - Helaire suffered an MCL sprain and is out for a few weeks, sources say. While he’ll miss time, not quite as bad as it appeared last night. And Thuney earns some serious tough-guy points for suffering a broken hand in the game and not missing a snap. His status, however, remains a tad unclear, even if he could be able to power through it going forward. The Chiefs also played without defensive lineman Chris Jones and cornerback Charvarius Ward, as Josh Allen and the Bills' offense had their way with Kansas City most of the Sunday night game.
Among them, Clyde Edwards - Helaire ranks: * 51st in u/PFF rushing grade * 49th in Elusive Rating * 50th in yards after contact per attempt. A floor that low for a supposed RB1 is still concerning. Looking for bare minimum of 10 points for RB1. I got offered Jalen Hurts and Clyde for Josh Allen.
Not sure how Gifford will recover from that. pic.twitter.com/80QCqNJg5b

Yes, he pointed at the defender. And yes, that's probably taunting under the new rules. The problem isn't the call, it's the rule. How dumb is that? He pointed at a guy. He didn't get in his face, didn't say anything, didn't taunt the crowd, etc. He extended his left index finger and aimed it in the direction of a defender. It was so benign, yet resulted in a 15-yard penalty.
The NFL needs to fix this rule.
