David Lombardi of The Athletic noted that the skirmish surrounding Aiyuk and Warner may not be a coincidence. Last week, the wideout called the 2020 All-Pro linebacker "annoying" and "irritating," whereas Warner said the treatment of the first-round pick was purely motivational.

Aiyuk was selected 25th overall by the Niners in 2020, and he's posted back-to-back five-touchdown seasons. The 24-year-old finished with 56 catches for a career-high 826 receiving yards in 2021 on 84 targets.

Giants have training camp brawl after Saquon Barkley hit .
According to Darryl Slater of NJ Advance Media for NJ.com, a "brawl exploded Monday during Giants training camp practice" stemming from a blow initially delivered by running back Saquon Barkley. Barkley lowered his shoulder to run through cornerback Aaron Robinson, who was knocked to the grass after he apparently wasn't prepared for such contact. Linebacker Tae Crowder "rushed over and objected to how Barkley was playing" and then "got tangled up with" center Jon Feliciano a couple of plays later. Feliciano tried to knee Crowder, and linebacker Cam Brown attempted to pull Feliciano away.
