Steelers K Chris Boswell not 'worrying' about contract ahead of season
Boswell did say he hopes to remain with the Steelers because of his "love" for the franchise and city.Johnson isn't the only noteworthy member of the Steelers with business matters on his mind during the closing week of July.
The Steelers made a change to their wide receiver group on Thursday.
The team announced that they have signed Christian Blake to their 90-man roster. Javon McKinley was waived with an injury designation in a corresponding move.
Blake appeared in 41 games for the Falcons over the last three seasons. He had 28 catches for 257 yards and recorded eight tackles while playing on Atlanta’s special teams units.
He signed with the Cardinals in May, but was waived by the NFC West club early this month.
McKinley signed with the Steelers on August 1. He will revert to the Steelers’ injured reserve list if he goes unclaimed on waivers.

Packers activate Elgton Jenkins, Robert Tonyan, Christian Watson from PUP list .
Teams have until August 23 to activate players in this situation, so the timing of the move is highly encouraging with respect to their regular season availability. Beginning the campaign on the reserve/PUP list was considered a likely outcome in Jenkins’ case last week. That would have dealt a major blow to the Packers’ o-line (requiring him to be sidelined for at least the first four games of the season), especially given the uncertainty surrounding All-Pro left tackle David Bakhtiari. Instead, Jenkins’ activation represents a positive sign in his recovery from the ACL tear he suffered last November.
