for many bloggers and also teachers who work with the digital native is the term "digital natives" from yesterday. The term comes from an essay from 2001 ( here as a PDF consumable ), which shaped the distinction between "digital natives" and "digital immigrants". The core thesis was that teachers had to adapt to a generation that had surrounded by PCs, online games, online games and mobile phones, and therefore understand the digital as a kind of mother tongue.
But a short fact check is enough to at least invalidate the argument of age. Although almost all under 30 years of age have 97%, even among the 70s over 70%, there is a clear majority of online online at 70%. In any case, every media consumer today had the same period to deal intensively with digital things. After all, the internet cultural area is there for everyone because it has something ready for everyone. Certainly teenagers spend more time online, but the consequences of a higher social interaction, growing film and media consumption or more of their own content affect all age groups alike, only with different forms.
Idaho police remove evidence boxes from home where college students were murdered
Law enforcement officials continued combing through the scene where four college students were murdered on Tuesday, removing multiple boxes of evidence from the home.Detectives from the FBI, Idaho State Police, and Moscow Police Department have spent the past nine days at the three-story residence where Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Ethan Chapin, and Xana Kernodle were stabbed to death on Nov. 13.
Age is from yesterday, what matters is the selection
OB Teenager or grandparents, whether business or web shop: permanent access to the Internet is only a click removed, especially at times, and new smartphone models are increasing with increasing Performance more and more affordable - the selection in the mobile phone shop of the Internet giant 1 & 1 , for example, quickly makes it clear. It is obvious to say that the digital natives would know much more due to life experience and interests. The JIM 2014, a study on dealing with the media of 12-19-year-olds, says that creative content is hardly practiced by this age group.
It should be noted that "digital natives" and "immigrants" are only artificial and by no means insurmountable opposites. Being something usual from an early age does not necessarily mean dealing with it more competently. Therefore, the importance of a comprehensive and prejudice -free mediation of digital skills must not be neglected. According to the #nextgen study, even twens already feel too old for the latest web innovations. But the digital penetration of the entire everyday life brings variety, and not everyone can and like everything. A term like that of the "digital natives" hardly meets this reality.

Amazon loses 10% of its vegetation in nearly four decades .
RIO DE JANEIRO (AP) — The Amazon region has lost 10% of its native vegetation, mostly tropical rainforest, in almost four decades, an area roughly the size of Texas, a new report says. From 1985 to 2021, the deforested area surged from 490,000 square kilometers (190,000 square miles) to 1,250,000 square kilometers (482,000 square miles), unprecedented destruction in the Amazon, according to the Amazon Network of Georeferenced Socio-Environmental Information, or Raisg. The numbers are calculated from an annual satellite monitoring since 1985 from Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Brazil, Venezuela, Suriname, Guyana and French Guiana.
